    HCUA represents credit unions at Midwest Banking Summit

    Credit union issues, concerns, and solutions were part of the discussion during a Midwest Banking Summit held by House Financial Services Committee members in Washington, D.C. The event was organized by U.S. Reps. Lacy Clay (D-MO District 1), Emanuel Cleaver II (D-MO District 5) and Joyce Beatty (D-OH), and Amy McLard, our executive director of advocacy, was the sole credit union representative among banks, housing groups and community organizations from Missouri and Ohio that participated on December 3.
