    United Labor Volunteer Deploys: Donations Requested

    United Labor Credit Union (ULCU) (Kansas City) volunteer Greg Davison is being deployed for another 10-month tour of duty in Afghanistan. Davison is a 23-year veteran of the United States Navy Seabees and a business representative for Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union No. 2 in Kansas City. He is a loving husband and father and a proud new grandfather.

    Vantage Member Wins Gift Card in Summer Loan Promotion

    Vantage Credit Union (Bridgeton) awarded member Jill Eaton of Barnhart with a $500 Visa gift card for participating in its summer loan promotion. Eaton, who qualified by closing on an RV loan in August, was automatically entered into the credit union’s ‘We Need You!’ summer loan promotion. Eaton and two others were randomly chosen from all qualifying loans to win Visa gift cards.

    The third annual Kingdom House Metamorphosis Young Friends Event, sponsored by American Eagle Credit Union (AECU), was held on October 26, 2012. This free event was held at Moulin Events & Meetings in St. Louis, Missouri. Event participants enjoyed an evening of fashion, West African drumming and dancing, plus cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts.

    Vantage CU Raises Awareness and Funds for Cancer Research

    Vantage Credit Union (Bridgeton, MO) raised awareness and funds for a subject dear to its heart, cancer research. Over $3,000 was raised during September and October for Prostate and Breast Cancer Awareness. The credit union held a ‘blue’ dress down day and bake sale on September 12 for prostate cancer and a ‘pink’ dress down day and gift basket auction on October 19 for breast cancer.
