    Two candidates seeking election to the Kansas House came under fire last week. The Kansas Republican Party cut ties with Michael Capps after allegations of child abuse surfaced. Another candidate, Adam Thomas, was arrested last week on charges of election perjury.

    Credit union leaders across Kansas and Missouri are meeting with members of Congress in-district in August and September – with more meetings  planned ahead. Key issues discussed include data security, credit union tax status, ongoing regulatory relief efforts including the ADA website interpretation issue, the need for Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) grant funding, and other concerns.
