    Missouri State-Chartered Credit Unions to See Tax Reduction

    Missouri Governor Mike Parson signed Senate Bill 769, which triggers the financial institutions tax reduction for credit unions, banks, and savings & loans associations when the legislature reduces the state corporation tax rate. The signed bills take effect on August 28.

    S. 2155 Passes the U.S. House!

    Efforts by you and other credit union advocates across Kansas, Missouri and the rest of the country have helped S. 2155, the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act, make its way to the president’s desk. Yesterday, the U.S. House passed S. 2155 with a final vote of 258-159,  and the U.S. Senate passed it in March with a bipartisan 67-31 vote.
