Key issues discussed include data security, credit union tax status, ongoing regulatory relief efforts including the ADA website interpretation issue, the need for Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) grant funding, and other concerns.

In some parts of the country, credit unions have received letters from outside “think tanks,” and most recently, a Wall Street Journal opinion piece from the Florida Bankers Association is attempting to tie the credit union tax status to credit union size.
