April is Youth Savings Month. What’s the big deal? Kids don’t need money management skills. Whatever financial literacy guidance our youth receive can come from school classes, or it can wait until they are adults, when they might actually need it.
Missouri’s credit unions are encouraged to participate in the National Credit Union Foundation’s (NCUF) Financial Fitness Day fundraiser on April 2 to kick off National Financial Literacy Month. The initiative will raise funds for both NCUF and the Missouri Credit Union Charitable Foundation (MCUCF) in support of their financial education initiatives.
