Federal Judge Halts Federal Overtime Rule

A federal judge in Texas stopped the Department of Labor's new federal overtime rule just 10 days before it was supposed to go into effect. The rule would have doubled the Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA) salary threshold for exemption on overtime pay.
