River Region Credit Union (Jefferson City) has recently donated two copier/scanners to help assist small credit unions. The two credit unions that received them are Northeast Regional in Hannibal and UBC in St. Louis (low-income designation). Both credit unions are under $2 million in assets. Previously, they did not have access to copiers/scanners of this magnitude. Both recipients are also part of the CDFI project.
Women in the credit union industry have access to a great professional resource—the Women’s Association of Credit Union Leaders (WACUL). This organization is open to female credit union leaders from Missouri and Kansas.
It’s official! DeAnna Anglin of Sullivan, has been named the next voice of Young & Free St. Louis. She is the fourth spokesperson for this unique program, powered by Vantage Credit Union (Bridgeton). Anglin was one of 34 applicants who submitted videos and blog posts. Eight individuals went on to become finalists based on a vote by their peers.

Designed exclusively for credit union members and located at the credit union’s Chesterfield branch, it is a full-service financial advisory program providing retirement, insurance and investment services to individuals.
United Labor Credit Union (Kansas City) attended the inaugural Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Association SMACNA LIVE! trade show at the Kansas City International Expo Center on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. The credit union exhibited at the show to a crowd of hundreds of contractors and members of their select employee group.
Electro Savings Credit Union (St. Louis) is investing in its credit union members by having over one-third of its staff, 27 employees including President & CEO Stan Moeckli become Certified Financial Counselors.
