This is the first time in four years the freshman legislative tour will take place, as the state budget did not allow for a freshman tour in 2011.
“We previously held freshman legislative breakfasts that were a great way to meet with newly elected lawmakers and establish relationships before the session begins,” explains MCUA Chief Advocacy Officer Peggy Nalls. “We are excited to be able to participate in this opportunity again, and hope that credit union representatives from across the state will join us.”
