GAC 2013: Missouri Hotel Block Information

Missouri credit union leaders will head to Washington, D.C. in 2013 for the Credit Union National Association’s Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), and room reservations are underway.  The conference takes place February 24 – 28, 2013.  Missouri-specific events, including a legislative briefing, Hill visits, group dinner and breakfast with legislative staff/legislators are being scheduled.  For general information about the GAC, including the overall schedule, speakers, guest program and more, visit the GAC Online.

The Missouri Credit Union Association has established a room block for Missouri participants.  It is located in the Renaissance Washington D.C. Hotel, 999 9th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001, at a rate of $305 single/double for four nights:  Sunday, February 24 – Wednesday, February 27, checking out on Thursday morning, February 28, 2013.

The number of rooms in the block is limited, and a minimum of four nights is requested to participate.  If you require fewer nights, please contact Liz Adams directly at 314.542.1317 or to see if your request can be accommodated.

Process to Reserve an MCUA GAC Block Room

  • Please visit the MCUA website and fill out the GAC Housing Commitment form: (an ID and password are required).
  • Use this form to confirm your housing requirements for the 2012 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.  A credit union may use one form entry to request up to six rooms. NOTE:  This is only a request form to provide MCUA an advance count of room needs. It does not complete your hotel reservation.
  • Please complete this form by November 7.  The form is required to book a room in the Missouri GAC block.
  • No later than November 19, MCUA will send to you, based on availability, a link to access the CUNA Housing Bureau. When you receive this e-mail, please use the link to complete your official housing registration.

More details regarding Missouri specific events are coming soon.   If you have  questions about the GAC or legislative visits, contact Amy McLard at 314.542.1370.
