NCUA National Supervisory Policy Manual
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) will likely release significant portions of the Supervisory Policy Manual next month, according to reliable sources at NCUA. This is not an examiners’ guide but rather a catalogue of the agency’s supervisory policies. Credit unions will be able to refer to those policies when questions about an examiner’s findings or directives occur as well as to clarify agency policies on supervisory matters generally.
Meanwhile, the Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) Examination and Supervision Subcommittee will be meeting with senior NCUA staff to discuss a range of examination and supervisory issues, as well as the agency’s budget.
