Alliance Opens "Teller-less" Branch
Several city and community business leaders were on hand for the ribbon-cutting of Alliance Credit Union's (Fenton) recently opened new Personal Service Branch located in O’Fallon, Missouri. This new branch concept provides members a full service ATM 24/7 and most traditional branch services but without teller lines. Instead, customers will sit down with a highly-skilled Personal Service Representative and have a conversation about how to meet their unique financial needs.
The full-service ATM will allow to be able members to make deposits as well as loan payments 24 hours a day. All cash transactions will be conducted through the ATM. This ATM is also surcharge-free and open to the public. The cashless branch is reflective of the emerging cashless society as technologies have allowed for more self-service transactions to be conducted electronically.
“A lot of financial services are moving toward online channels,” Alliance Credit Union President/CEO Dennis Sommer said. “The Personal Service Branch concept will allow us the opportunity to provide a high level of service with practically all the benefits of a full-service branch.”
