Electro Savings Hosts 2 Free Business Seminars
Electro Savings Credit Union is hosting two free business seminars and business networking events. The first is a credit education seminar titled "How Your Personal Score Affects Your Business Profile." The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Frankie & Johny's Italian Restaurant, 11686 Gravois Road, Sunset Hills, MO 63126.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Pat Pettey, business development specialist from Electro Savings will cover various topics, including the impact your personal credit report and score has on your business endeavors and the "Five Cs" of business credit. "Many people just do not understand the credit process and how credit reporting works," says Pettey. "The goal of the seminar is to give small business owners and entrepreneurs a basic understanding of the business and personal credit process so they can avoid, minimize or begin to repair financial difficulties."

The second event is "Ask the Experts." Local business professionals are combining their resources to offer this no-cost business seminar. The event, sponsored by Electro Savings, will be held on Thursday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Electro Savings Credit Union corporate office, 1850 Craigshire Drive, Suite 203, St. Louis, MO 63146. Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. and a business networking lunch is included at 11:30 a.m.
Speakers include David Goldfarb, CPA of David A. Goldfarb, CPA, P.C., who will discuss the topic of "Why Businesses Fail and Why Yours Won't." Attorney W. Scott Rose will speak about "Protecting Your Business from Legal Risks." Liberty Mutual Agent, Mary Elizabeth, will discuss "Liability: Why It's Important," and Reliant Pay Vice President and Co-Owner, Denny Kammer, will focus on "Credit Card Acceptance: Myths vs. Reality." There will also be a discussion titled "How to Lower Taxes and Increase Savings for Your Employees' Retirement."
