American Eagle Credit Union Foundation Collects Supplies for College Students

The American Eagle Credit Union Foundation's Dorm Essentials Drive collected more than 400 donations of bed linens, pillows, laundry baskets flash drives, gift cards and more. Held in partnership with Lift for Life Academy and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern IL, these donations will be given to students in need.

“We know that the donations will empower these students to proceed with their education. Thank you to those who contributed and helped make this drive successful,” says Pier Alsup, chief community relations officer.

The drive was held at 12 American Eagle Credit Union/Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union branches in the metro St. Louis area. The credit union's staffers embraced the giving, holding a good-hearted competition among the departments.

The American Eagle Credit Union Foundation serves residents in the St. Louis community by providing grants and expertise through their financial empowerment programs. It supports St. Louisans of all ages to achieve their dreams and aspirations. It also promotes collaboration, bringing non-profit organizations together to provide quality financial education and giving access to banking opportunities for people most in need.
