Found on Facebook: Credit Unions Spreading Holiday Cheer - Part 3!

We found MORE credit unions embracing the holiday spirit! Take a peek at what Arsenal Credit Union (Arnold, MO), Central Missouri Community Credit Union (Warrensburg, MO) and Envista Credit Union (Topeka, KS) have been up to.

Arsenal Credit Union Hosts Toys for Tots Drive, Recycles Old Christmas Lights for Members

Arsenal Credit Union recently hosted both a backpack food and a Toys for Tots drive. Many new gifts were purchased and brought in by employees and members.

Credit union staffers promoted these drives via the Facebook page and its blog.

Speaking of Facebook, they posted the adventures of Tracker on a Shelf. See an example at right. Youth account members (aka Tracker Kids Club) can win their very own Tracker.

Arsenal branches also served as drop-off locations for used and broken Christmas lights. Partnering with MRC Recycling, Arsenal Credit Union helped members responsibly dispose of unwanted holiday lights.

Central Missouri Community Credit Union Raises Hope for Local Expectant Mothers

Central Missouri Community Credit Union employees are invested in their community. Back in November, the Sedalia branch began accepting donations and collecting items for an organization called There Is Hope. There Is Hope helps young expecting mothers in need by providing toiletries, maternity clothing, baby clothing, furniture and more. The organization also provides a maternity home for those who need somewhere to live during their pregnancy.

The Sedalia branch employees collected items like soap, toiletries, diapers, detergent, paper towels, baby toys, cleaning supplies, etc.

In addition, the credit union staffers were able to purchase $300 worth of supplies AND they were able to present There Is Hope with a $500 check.

Envista Credit Union Donates to Local Charity, Serves Up Holiday Breakfast for Members

Envista Credit Union staffers were certainly in the giving mood this holiday season! Not only did they make a generous donation to a local organization, but they celebrated their members with a special, in-branch breakfast.

Each year, Envista employees pick a local charity or cause to donate to during the holiday season. In 2016, they raised nearly $1,500 and purchased gifts for seven families in need at the Family Service and Guidance Center.

Then members were in for a treat when a credit union staffer's husband, who just so happens to be a chef, volunteered to make breakfast. From the pictures, it looked like quite a spread, including pancakes, bacon, orange juice, coffee and more.
