Crash the GAC: Apply Before Nov. 23!

Crash the GAC has inspired, motivated and taught hundreds of young credit union professionals! Planned alongside CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), Crash the GAC is non-stop and action-packed.

Attendees will not only have the chance to attend GAC, but they will network and learn in "crash" sessions that bring in industry mentors to lead the group in open conversations about topics such as leadership, social responsibility, innovation and more. Past guests include current and former CUNA CEOs, Jim Nussle and Bill Cheney, the executive director of the National Credit Union Foundation, Gigi Hyland, and Filene CEO, Mark Meyer.

Past crashers aren't shy about sharing their experiences! Check out what West Community Credit Union's (Missouri) Ashley Scroggins had a lot to say about it! She notes the opportunity to learn, connect and grow. Another former crasher, Chris Wolgamott, of Meritrust Credit Union (Kansas), explained why he found Crash the GAC valuable.

What Does it Cost?

First, if you are chosen as your state's Crasher, your conference registration is covered. Heartland Credit Union Association (HCUA) will pay for your hotel and travel. That means you only have to pick up the bill on food costs.

But first  you have to apply...
