Your Credit Union Deserves Recognition

Credit unions in Kansas and Missouri do great things for their members and communities every single day. It's time to be recognized for your efforts! The deadline to enter CUNA's National Award program is fast approaching…your entries are due July 1.

These awards (Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility award, Louise Herring Philosophy in Action award and the Desjardins Youth and Adult Financial Education award) are designed to encourage and recognize distinguished credit unions which demonstrate social responsibility, the credit union philosophy, and financial education.

In an effort to show how valuable these awards are, and to align with how other credit union leagues and associations judge their own state's awards, only entries with the highest score above 80% of the maximum points will receive first place recognition and moves on to national judging. The next highest score above 80% will receive an honorable mention. Entries submitted to Heartland Credit Union Association will be judged by another state league.

Complete scoring and judging information can be found here.

Entering your awards is easy…it’s all online! Although we are one organization serving credit unions in Kansas and Missouri, these awards remain state-specific. Go to the Kansas CUNA Awards site or the Missouri CUNA Awards site to start.

Only one entry per category or asset size will move on to the national judging. In the event of a tie, another judge may be asked to judge the entries.
