St. Louis Chapter of Credit Unions Hosts Annual Breakfast, Recognizes Association Presidents

The St. Louis Chapter of Credit Unions hosted their annual welcome breakfast at the Lodge of Des Peres. More than 70 people attended the event, including management staff from St. Louis credit unions, staff members from the Heartland Credit Union Association and other guests from within the business community.

The featured speaker of the event was Michael Wagner, along with his mother, Amy. Michael is one of this year’s CMN Miracle Kids. Kansas Corporate Credit Union sponsored the event, and representing them was Larry Eisenhauer, president and CEO. In addition, Amy McLard, of HCUA, provided a very informative legislative update.

The highlight of the event was Don Cohenour speaking on his very last day with the Association before his retirement. Don introduced Brad Douglas, the new HCUA President/CEO. Brad shared his background and spoke about his vision for HCUA. In recognition of Don’s service to Missouri credit unions, the St. Louis Chapter presented him with a $500 donation to the Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation.
