There’s Still Time to Dress with Care for Kids!

September 9 is Miracle Jeans Day

On Wednesday, September 9, 2015, hundreds of credit unions nationwide will join to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals with the celebration of Miracle Jeans Day. Celebrating Miracle Jeans Day is an easy way to connect your credit union employees with your members as well as help kids in your community. When your staff donates $5 to your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, they are able to wear jeans to work on September 9.

Already Wear Jeans to Work?

Mark the day with something else that is lively. What fun theme can you create? For a $5 donation, your employees can dress with care in unique ways. Other credit unions have had a Miracle Flip Flop Day, a Miracle Hat Day, or even a Miracle Jersey Day.

Donations in Action!

CMN Hospitals treat millions of children across North America. This treatment is given regardless of the patient’s condition or ability to pay. Every single cent makes a difference. Medical treatment and equipment can get expensive quickly.

Meet Sophia (pictured at right). She was born with her heart on the opposite side, upside down, and backwards. She has needed four open-heart surgeries and three stomach surgeries to beat the very slim odds the doctors gave her at birth.

CMN Hospitals continue to provide Sophia with physical and occupational therapy. Even though she will always be on medication, her joy for life allows passion for art, playing softball, and stealing the show as a Lost Boy in her school’s play.
