Happy New Year from Credit Unions for Kids

2011 Fundraising Totals
How much did credit unions raise for the kids in 2011? Great question!  Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals still have many credit unions that have not remitted their funds from last year. In fact, by their estimate, only one-third of funds raised by credit unions in 2011 have been sent to CMN Hospitals. If you still have donations from 2011, please submit them as soon as possible. In order to ensure they are counted in the Credit Unions for Kids’ 2011 fundraising totals, their accounting department must have checks in hand before January 31. Click here for the form to send with your donation which also includes remittance instructions. Thank you for your help and cooperation!

Upcoming Campaign: Change a Child’s Life Coin Drive
The Change a Child’s Life coin collection campaign runs March 1 through April 30 and is the first of the three national Credit Unions for Kids campaign for 2012.  Change a Child's Life is an easy way for credit unions to engage their members in their fundraising initiatives.  Credit unions place the canisters at teller stations, member services representatives' desks and other places employees interact with members.  Then employees simply invite members to donate their loose change when they stop by the branch.  It’s a free, easy way for credit unions to display their community involvement while helping the kids.

Marketing materials to help credit unions make the Change a Child’s Life campaign a success can be found here.
