Compliance Connection Conference Boasts Great Speaker Lineup

This year's MCUA Compliance Connection Conference, August 25-26 in St. Louis, will host two expert speakers from CU Solutions Group, a Michigan CUSO serving more than 3,000 credit unions and leagues, to provide training and consultation on a number of popular, industry-related hot topics. Amy Wargo, CUCA, BSACS, CRVPM has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years, most recently as Compliance Consulting Manager for CU Solutions Group. Her expertise includes a background in compliance/internal audit implementation, operational experience in procedural development, lending and training. She is certified in credit union compliance, vendor program management and the Bank Secrecy Act and is a trained Six Sigma Champion. She is an experienced developer of both technical and training resources, as well as training delivery. Amy provides compliance consulting services to credit unions throughout Michigan that include onsite shared staffing support and project-based engagements.CRVPM has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years, most recently as Compliance Consulting Manager for CU Solutions Group. Jamie L. Howell, CUCE is a seasoned regulatory and operational compliance professional dedicated to helping credit unions improve the lives of their members. As a consultant for CU Solutions Group, she demonstrates a genuine passion and enthusiasm for developing a culture that exemplifies empowerment, accountability and respect for her peers in the workplace. A certified compliance expert since 2006, Jamie is also a certified credit counselor and advocates for various financial literacy initiatives. With experience in institutions of all asset ranges, Jamie delivers scalable solutions that allow credit unions to offer the best options in the consumer banking market.

Amy and Jamie will take a non-traditional approach to compliance related issues and training during their presentation. Emphasis will be placed on participant interaction as well as networking opportunities for the group.
