MCUA Provides Forum for Credit Union Managers, Staff to Discuss Fraud

The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) now provides a forum for credit union managers and staff to discuss fraud and other crimes directed at credit unions. The new LinkedIn group, “Fraud Forum for Credit Unions in Missouri,” offers a place where credit unions can work together to protect their members.

Topics may include, but are not limited to actual and attempted check fraud, kiting, mail and wire fraud, loan fraud, forgeries, card frauds, identity theft, extortion, embezzlement, money laundering, etc. Feel free to post a question, even if you don’t have all the details, as others may be able to “fill in the blanks.”

To keep discussions protected, “Fraud Forum for Credit Unions in Missouri” is a private group. To request membership, go to https://www.linkedin.com/grp/home?gid=8301729, click “Join” and your request will be reviewed by the group manager.

Let’s make this a community resource from which we can all learn and benefit!
