TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosures Seminar Registration Now Open

Christy Curtis Jones, of Sherpy & Jones, P.A., joins MCUA once more to provide valuable training on the Truth in Lending Act and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.

This session is the perfect opportunity for lending staffers to learn about and focus on the new forms, which will transform the mortgage lending industry. Mortgage lenders must begin using the new Integrated Disclosures for applications for closed-end mortgages received on or after August 1, 2015. Some provisions are effective on August 1 because they apply before the credit union receives an application. This informative half-day session will cover:

  • The new Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure
  • What these new disclosures replace and the timing for each disclosure
  • The changes in the way critical terms are defined such as “application” and “business day”
  • A line-by-line review of the content of each disclosure with special discussions devoted to possible problems including how the forms will differ for refinances versus purchases
  • New miscellaneous forms
  • How the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure can further integrate with current disclosures such as those required by the appraisal rules effective in 2014

This seminar is conveniently being held on three different dates and in three different cities. Click your preference below to register.

June 16: St. Louis
June 17: Jefferson City
June 18: Kansas City
