Health Care Family Launches Improved Website

Health Care Family Credit Union (St. Louis) launched a new website that was designed to be more modern and professional. The credit union decided to invest in its online presence when it entered the digital advertising space.

"We knew we needed to make some improvements to the website, in order for our online ads to be worth the investment," says Sam Davis, Health Care Family marketing manager. 

After researching web design firms in November 2014 and choosing one in December, the redesign began in January. Just a little more than two months later on March 23, the site went live. The site boasts a scrolling banner and a simple iconic menu that prompts consumers to: Open an Account, Apply for a Loan or view Quick Rates. 

One benefit to the redesign is that content and changes can be made in-house within minutes rather than submitting them to a third-party host. Complete control over the site enables the credit union to be more agile in responding to member needs or taking advantage of market opportunities. The site is also responsive to mobile devices and features a user-friendly navigation system. Another welcome addition is a search feature.

“The new website is everything we had hoped it would be," says Davis. "We are very excited to be able to offer our current and potential members a high quality online product.”

Davis is tracking website traffic with Google Analytics, so the credit union can measure increased visits and duration on the site. 

Health Care Family serves more than 100 employee groups in the health care field as well as several civic organizations. In addition to serving residents and employees of Richmond Heights and Maplewood.
