Electro Savings Honors Veterans with Donation to USO

Electro Savings Credit Union (St. Louis) proudly donated $1,385 to the USO of Missouri, located on the lower level of Terminal 1 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

In honor of Veterans Day, the credit union pledged $5 to the USO for each new member, new loan or new checking account opened at the credit union during the month of November, 2014. In its three years of pledging this donation, the credit union has donated $3,500 to the USO.

“Electro Savings is very proud to support our military with this donation," says Stan Moeckli, president of Electro Savings. "Our active duty, veterans, and their families sacrifice so much for us through their service. Supporting the USO is one way that we can give back to them."

The USO at Lambert Airport provides a full spectrum of services to all military personnel and their dependents. All services offered are free. More than 700 dedicated volunteers work to keep the doors of the USO open. The USO of Missouri, Inc. is not part of the Department of Defense. No government, military or United Way funding is received. The USO of Missouri, Inc. is a private, non-profit 501(C)(3) organization and depends entirely on the generosity of individual and corporate donors. Donate directly at http://www.usomissouri.org/.
