Annual Advocacy Meeting Hotel Discount Ends January 23

Time is running out to receive the hotel discount for the Missouri Credit Union Association's (MCUA) Annual Advocacy Meeting. The event takes place February 9-10 in Jefferson City. The hotel registration deadline is January 23. 

More than 100 lawmakers have registered to attend the legislative reception on February 9, with more registrations coming in each day.  The event will also include one-on-one meetings with lawmakers, advocacy presentations, and luncheon at the Capitol.  Make sure that Missouri credit union leaders - including staff and volunteers - from your credit union and region are on hand to discuss credit union concerns.

Missouri Events at the GAC – March 8-12 in Washington, D.C.

Tuesday, March 10

Legislative Briefing
5:15 – 6:15 p.m.
Washington Convention Center – Room TBD
 
MCUA Group Dinner
7 p.m.  – The Hamilton, 600 145th Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20005
The dinner is free for all credit union participants. Spouse/guest fee is $75.
 
Wednesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 12
 
Legislative Visits on Capitol Hill
March 11 – All day, including Sen. Roy Blunt’s “Missouri Morning” reception at 9 a.m.
March 12 – Meetings includes Sen. Claire McCaskill’s “Coffee with Claire” at 9 a.m. and other potential visits.  To accommodate legislative visit requests from lawmakers/staff, please do not plan to depart from Capitol Hill before noon on March 12.
 

Before registering, please have email, cell phone and flight details for each attendee. If you plan to register multiple people, register any guest/spouse first to make the payment option easier. Register for Missouri-only events here.

The MCUA block is currently full. However, MCUA will continue to work with Missouri credit union GAC attendees regarding hotels and make every effort to get additional rooms at the Renaissance. We anticipate more rooms will be released and made available to our group as needed. If this is not possible, attendees may be placed at alternative GAC hotels in Washington, D.C.
