Guest Authors Wanted for Bank On More Blog

In 2015, a goal of the Bank On More campaign is to ramp up its already substantial digital presence. A key element of this strategy is posting original, engaging content to Bank On More’s blog at least once every two weeks—ideally, we would like to post weekly to the blog.

As part of our mission to raise awareness for individual credit unions, we want to extend guest author opportunities to you.

Here’s how it works:

  • Send us an email – Let us know what topic you would like to write about; we can also provide you topics.
  • We’ll add you to our editorial calendar and establish a reasonable deadline.
  • Submissions should include a brief bio of the author—we would use this space to link to your blog, website or social media websites.
  • We’ll share this content through our social media platforms.

This is a great opportunity for credit unions without blogs as it provides a space for them to create original content, which can be shared through their social media channels.

What can you write about? The Bank On More blog should be thought of like a lifestyle blog for people trying to save money. This is a great place for tips from financial experts (i.e. second mortgages, credit scores, buying a car, financial planning for a family, etc.) or lifestyle topics (think Pinterest – DIY, frugal tips, couponing, balancing family/work, professional tips, etc.). These are just guidelines. We’re happy to hear all of your ideas for the blog.
