Pick Up Your Warners' Warm-Up Supplies

It's time to pick up your Warners' Warm-Up supplies and get your coat drive started! This year there are more than 20 credit unions participating, representing nearly 100 drop-off locations.

All materials will be available for pick up on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, beginning at noon:

St. Louis Credit Unions Supply Pick-Up:
Missouri Credit Union Association
2055 Craigshire Road, Suite 200
St. Louis, MO  63146

Illinois Credit Unions Supply Pick-Up:   (Catholic & Community, GCS, Scott, & Processors Credit Unions)
Scott Credit Union (Collinsville Branch)
1100 Belt Line Road
Collinsville, IL 62234

Be aware that although the boxes will be flat, they are huge. Therefore, they will not fit in a regular car.

For those who ordered coat cut-outs, they work just like the balloon cut-outs for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). Your employees can sell them for $1 each. Members can write their names on the cut-out for display in your lobby. At the end of the drive, one check should be written for the final amount made payable to “First Things First.”  Be sure to write “Warners' Warm-up” in the memo section of your check. All money collected will be used to purchase new coats.

Once again, the St. Louis Chapter will sponsor a collection box decorating contest. Decorate your collection box, take a picture of it and submit your entry to Sarah Rehkop via email by the end of the coat drive. One credit union branch will receive a free pizza lunch courtesy of the St. Louis Chapter of Credit Unions. Don't forget to also post the picture on your social media pages to create more interest.

First Things First is working with Operation Food Search to create a social media campaign to promote the drive with the hashtags #WarnersWarmup and #1City1Team. Members are encouraged to take a “selfie” when dropping off coats and tag the partner location where they donated and challenge other friends to donate on social media. First Things First will randomly give a prize to selfie pictures. If your credit union uses Twitter, please send Sarah Rehkop your handle ASAP.

If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Rehkop via email.
