Data Match Program News Shared at Annual Advocacy Meeting

This year’s Annual Advocacy Meeting (March 10-11) is quickly approaching and the early bird pricing will expire in just a matter of days (February 14). You can register here.

The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) Annual Advocacy Meeting in Jefferson City will feature a variety of speakers and opportunities to learn more about state and federal issues affecting credit unions and consumers. Wilma Fick, Program Development Specialist with the Missouri Child Support System, is scheduled to highlight credit union efforts in support of the Financial Institution Data Match program during the March 11 breakfast.

FIDM is a mandatory national program that helps track down parents who are delinquent with child support payments. Since December, dozens of credit unions in Missouri have updated and signed up with the program. Fick has worked with many credit unions on their efforts with the FIDM program. She will share information about the program, how it has positively affected Missouri families, and the impact increased credit union participation is making for those families.

To find out more about the Data Match program and your credit union participation, contact either Karen Baker, regulatory compliance consultant, via email or at 314.542.1399.

At the Annual Meeting, you’ll also have a chance to meet with state legislators to discuss credit union issues and concerns. Plus, you won’t want to miss the reality fair held in the Capitol Rotunda.
