American Eagle Sponsors Kingdom House Event

The Metamorphosis Costume Party, sponsored by American Eagle Credit Union (AECU), was held on October 25, 2013 at Moulin Events & Meetings. This friend-raiser helped Kingdom House, AECU’s Soulard neighbor, to bring together young professionals at a social event to spread awareness about its ability to help the people of St. Louis transform their lives through a variety of services.

The local public was invited to discover and connect with Kingdom House through a Halloween-themed evening of costumes, giveaways and dancing, plus cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. Attendance prizes included an iPad Mini, a Keurig and various themed baskets.

One unique aspect of the Metamorphosis Costume Party was AECU’s strategic utilization of social media to announce the event, highlight door prizes, promote virtual RSVPs, and provide live updates. During the event, attendees were encouraged to tweet with the hashtag #KHtransforms. Photos taken were simultaneously uploaded to AECU’s Facebook page for participants to tag themselves in during the party.

“AECU makes the Metamorphosis event incredibly special with their financial support as well as their professional skills and connections that are not always available to Kingdom House,” said Jennifer March, director of Development at Kingdom House. “Through their efforts, AECU demonstrates true compassion and understanding for the needs of our clients and their families."
