C&E Social Media: Share Insights, Info with Peers
At the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA), we’re excited for the rapidly approaching 2013 Convention & Exposition. This annual MCUA event inspires credit union professionals to grow, collaborate and learn from industry experts.
We encourage you to communicate with your peers by using the hashtag #MCUAExpo when posting to your personal social media platforms. Not only does this make it easier to join conversations with others attending the same sessions as you, it also updates those who couldn’t make it to the event or to that particular session.
Register for MCUA’s 2013 Convention & Expo here.
Why shouldn’t you share this info from your credit union’s social media accounts? To be honest, many of your fans (aka members) will not relate to most of the subject matter. However, other credit union professionals NATIONWIDE will most likely hang on to every single one of your tweets. Sharing your C&E insights online may lead to some informative and beneficial social conversations with your peers.
There might be a few opportunities for you to share your C&E experience with your members. For example, if attending the advocacy session, you may share a photo of your employees and talk about how your staff is working to protect your members’ financial choices. Please use your best judgment when posting to your credit union’s accounts during C&E. Only share things that are relevant to your members.
Not able to make the event? To keep you up-to-date about C&E, we’ll live tweet from the event with the #MCUAExpo hashtag.
