ULCU Sends Care Packages Abroad
Over 250 pounds of goods have been collected thanks to United Labor Credit Union (ULCU) employees, Select Employee Groups (SEGs) and individual, business and credit union donors. The bounty is on its way to Afghanistan to benefit deployed credit union volunteer Greg Davison and the 155 troops under his command responsible for performing construction naval support activities at forward operating bases and fleet hospital/expeditionary medical facilities during wartime.
Davison is a 23-year veteran of the United States Navy Seabees, a ranking Master Chief, and a business representative for Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union No. 2 in Kansas City, MO, a SEG of United Labor. He is a loving husband and father, and a proud new grandfather. His valued presence on the ULCU credit committee will be missed while he is away for the next seven months.
If interested in donating over the next 300-plus days, ULCU will be collecting items to send to Davison and the troops. The following items are needed to complete more care packages:
