CMCCU "Freezin' for a Reason"
Central Missouri Community Credit Union (CMCCU) (Warrensburg) employees showed their support for HELP Services by participating in the Polar Bear Plunge at Carrollton Recreational Lake. Community Involvement Incentive Program Chair, Jessica O’Connell said, “If you’re unfamiliar with a Polar Plunge, it’s essentially what it sounds like, you jump into a freezing cold lake!”
CMCCU pledged more than $100 to HELP Services for five employees to jump in the lake on January 1, 2013. HELP Services is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to residents of Carroll County. The Polar Bear Plunge raised a total of $1,659.00 with 23 jumpers. CMCCU employees are already making plans to jump again next year in support of HELP Services.Photo Caption (L-R): Michelle Woods, Teller; Elizabeth Ramos, Teller; and Felicia Farabee, Branch Manager.
