Electro Savings CU Honors Veterans with Donation to Local USO
Electro Savings Credit Union (St. Louis) donated $1,060 to the USO of Missouri. Located at Lambert Airport, the USO of Missouri provides a full spectrum of services to all military personnel and their dependents. All services that are offered are free. More than 700 dedicated volunteers work to keep the doors of the USO open.
In honor of Veterans Day, the credit union donated $5 to the USO for each new member account, new loan or new checking account opened during the month of November.
“Electro is happy to make this donation to the USO in their support of our military. Our active duty veterans along with their families sacrifice so much for us through their service. Supporting a program like the USO is one way that we can give back to them," states Lisa Farnen, vice president of Marketing at Electro Savings Credit Union.Photo Caption: On January 8, 2013, Electro Savings Credit Union's CEO, Stan Moeckli (right) and Vice President of Marketing, Lisa Farnen (left) awarded a check to the USO of Missouri’s Executive Director, Kathy O’Connor (center).
