A special note of gratitude from Caroline Willard, Cornerstone League President/CEO
As we prepare to give thanks for life’s abundance with our families and loved ones, I am writing to share a note of gratitude with you, our members.
This year, we were reminded of how good it is to be together and it is apparent that the synergies of togetherness make us better, and I want to thank you for your contribution to our collaborative enterprise.
We are also very thankful for the people from HCUA who will be joining the Cornerstone team. I know that part of our transition is important to members as well, so I have provided a brief introduction to them below.
Tana Hoffman, Tim Loveless, and Daylene Wittman continue to be the point of contact for Kansas and Missouri credit unions. Lisa Simmons will serve in a general counsel role and will join the executive management team at Cornerstone.
Michael Murray and Ian Dunlap will lead state advocacy efforts in Kansas and Missouri, respectively. Karen Baker and Sarah Easley will join the compliance department.
Anna Neuner will join the education and events team; Susan Dyer and Nora Revie will add to the Cornerstone Communications team; and Brittany Ellis and Bridget Bowles will join the marketing side of the house.
Tyrel Brown will join the finance team and Pat Behnen will continue in an administrative role.
On the Cornerstone Resources side, Mark Hohenstein will lead the shared branching product for Kansas and Missouri, and Belinda Muck will join the audit and consulting department. The Cornerstone Foundation will expand by one, as Beth Falkenstein joins the Foundation staff.
While all HCUA staff received job offers from Cornerstone, a few have chosen to pursue other opportunities. Amy McLard, Andrea Robinson Fuentes and Clint Armistead have all contributed to the success of credit unions and done amazing and meaningful work during their time at HCUA and the Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation. They will always be a part of the credit union family and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Please join me in thanking them for their service and dedication to HCUA, HCUCF, and our member credit unions.
The newly fortified Cornerstone team stands ready to serve members with the tenacity, expertise, and passion to which you’ve become accustomed. And for that I am most thankful.
Tremendous opportunities are ahead, and I thank you for your support as we explore and extend the value of this collaboration. I look forward to the chance to demonstrate how we are truly better together.
