2022 brings a new era to Ozark Federal Credit Union (Poplar Bluff, MO) and the New Year is a good time to announce changes. Kirk Mondy plans to retire in May 2023 and in preparation, a transition period has been established at the credit union.

The Board of Directors announced that effective January 1, 2022, Chad Wolfram is the new president/CEO. Prior to this, Mr. Wolfram was the executive vice president. Mr. Mondy will stay on in a non-management advisory capacity until his retirement.

Mr. Wolfram has been with the credit union since 2010. He was hired to oversee all lending and has been part of the management team from the beginning. Originally from Indiana, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Indiana University. Wolfram’s wife, Amanda, is the Children’s Ministries pastor at Fellowship General Baptist Church and their three children attend Neelyville schools.

When asked about the transition Mr. Mondy said, “This move was made at my request.  I am in my 40th year with the credit union and look forward to ‘downshifting’ for a bit before joining my wife in retirement. I have the utmost confidence in Chad and his ability to continue taking the credit union forward.”
