The program meets every other month from January-October. Participants learn
everything from credit union philosophy, advocacy and communication
skills to regulator insights, financial analysis and strategic planning.
Each session includes two intensive days of learning from experts,
bonding with each other, and self-reflection.
“While the focus of CUlead is to build leadership skills, it also builds relationships between participants which is just as valuable," said Clint Armistead, director of training & events and CUlead coordinator. "The small class size helps facilitate those connections and even years later, graduates of the program keep in touch."
The first session was January 18-19, 2022.
