Judy Schoenecker

Judy Schoenecker promoted to vice president of account resolution

A 24-year employee of CUA, Schoenecker has 37 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her responsibilities include the collection and/or recovery of credit union assets, managing daily collection activity on consumer and mortgage loans, managing charged-off and delinquent accounts, and managing department staff.  Schoenecker earned her associate degree from Neosho County Community College.

Matthew Schenk

Matthew Schenk promoted to vice president enterprise architecture  

Matthew is a 13-year employee of CUA and has 15 years of experience in information technology and financial services, including positions as an IT assistant, implementations manager, AVP of information technology, and AVP enterprise systems. Matthew now oversees development, data analysis, and teller automation support departments. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems and IT from Wichita State University.  

Brett Lind

Brett Lind hired as a real estate loan officer

Brett serves members at CUA’s Derby branch. He brings 24 years of real estate lending experience to CUA members, where he will guide and meet their needs when buying or refinancing a home. He is a graduate from Kansas State University with a degree in business finance. 

Sarah Kueser

Sarah Kueser steps into new role as TAP center manager

Sarah has worked at CUA for over 10 years and brings a total of 26 years of experience in the financial services industry.  She previously served as the business deposit officer and prior to that a branch manager, both at CUA. In her new position she will be responsible for oversight of the TAP-teller center/staff, ITMs (intelligent teller machines), and daily department operations. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Emporia State University and her associate in arts from Allen County Community College.   

Gavin Hirsh

Gavin Hirsh promoted to automated teller services (ATS) manager

Gavin, a 15-year employee of CUA, has extensive financial services and technology experience having served in member-facing teller, member service, electronic services, IT support, ATM and ITM support positions. Most recently, he was the automated teller support supervisor. As ATS manager, he will manage CUA’s ATM and ITM fleet, including hardware, software, and installations. Hirsh is a graduate of Goddard High School and continued his studies at Cowley Community College.

Heather Lamb

Heather Lamb promoted to real estate loan officer

Heather, a 10-year employee of CUA brings a total of 16 years of experience in the financial services industry to her new position. A 30-year resident of Hoisington, Kansas, she has previously worked as a real estate loan officer, consumer loan officer, financial/customer service representative, and teller. In her new role at CUA, Heather will be responsible for guiding and meeting the needs of members who are purchasing a home or refinancing a current mortgage. Heather earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Fort Hays State University and her associate degree in applied science at Barton County Community College.
