Vickie Hurt, administrator of the Kansas Department of Credit Unions (KDCU), has announced her retirement effective Dec. 31. Hurt began serving as acting administrator of the Department last year, then was officially appointed to the position by the Kansas Senate in January to fill the remainder of Jerel Wright’s term. Hurt’s retirement coincides with the expiration of the term.

She worked in leadership and compliance roles for the Wyoming Employees Federal Credit Union and two Wyoming-based banks. Hurt is a former board member of the Kansas Credit Union Association.

The state will soon begin the search for a new administrator. If you have questions about the administrator position, contact Vickie Hurt at 785.296.3021 or Stephanie Mullholland at 785.338.1628.
