Gerald Brooks to be inducted into AACUC's African American Credit Union Hall of Fame

Gerald S. Brooks is the board chairman of St. Louis Community Credit Union (SLCCU) and has been active in the St. Louis community for the last five decades. 

Under his leadership, SLCCU and Carrollton Bank began a collaborative agreement to increase lending, provide greater access to affordable services and expand financial education to the local underserved and LMI population. Brooks has also served as Chairman of the African Heritage Association of St. Louis.

He is a retired marketing, public and community relations director for the St. Louis Public Library where he worked for 24 years. 

For his many community efforts and contributions, Gerald was listed repeatedly in the Who's Who in Black St. Louis. 

He will be inducted into the African-American Credit Union Coalition's Hall of Fame on March 1. Register to attend the virtual event (seats are limited!)
