Vice President of Operations: City Credit Union (Kansas City, MO)

City Credit Union, a $39 Million credit union, located in Independence, Missouri is looking for a highly motivated experienced professional to join its team as Vice President of Operations.  City Credit Union serves its member base of over 4,400 through its one branch location and has been in operation since 1960.  The credit union serves those who live or work in Jackson County Missouri.

The Vice President will report directly to the President and will be responsible for assisting in the overall management of the credit union.  The ideal candidate will possess an engaging, friendly demeanor, someone who can get along with personalities of all kinds.  They will have the ability to lead by example, possess a drive to inspire and motivate a team to be and do better in all areas. They are a problem solver, with a smaller staff you must have the ability to adapt to any situation, be able to see and do what needs to be done to solve the issue at hand.

Loan Processor: Skyward Credit Union (Wichita, KS)

The Loan Processor accepts loan applications and processes the application to a point where the loan officer can make a loan decision. Performs computer input as needed to prepare loan documents and establish the loan on the data system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accepts loan applications from loan officers, research credit history, verify information and do necessary preparation of ratios and numerical comparisons to provide officers the information needed to facilitate a fair and objective credit decision.
  • Prepares correct and necessary loan paperwork.
  • Does data system entry to set up loan and disburse loan proceeds.
  • Closes loans accurately and completely.
  • Observes correct procedures in filing notices of security interest, recording liens on titles and financing statements.
  • Provides members with information on payments, balances, etc. as requested.

Affinity Credit Union is seeking an experienced accountant to join their team. The accountant will support the financial management and operations of the credit union. The accountant must be able to perform accounting duties of moderate complexity in accordance with standard procedures and under moderate supervision.

The accountant must demonstrate an understanding of the business functions and transactions that drive general ledger account balances. Responsibilities include preparing and entering daily and monthly general ledger transactions and monthly general ledger reconciliations. Prepare and pay all accounts payable for the credit union. This expert will take ownership and be accountable for our financial and accounting services, internal administrative functions, and investments. They’ll have the business savvy to conduct market research, analyze our current product offerings while developing new ones,  manage cash flow and financial sheets and provide comprehensive, yet easy to understand reports. On the softer side, they’ll be the liaison and primary manager of our accounting/finance vendor (and other appropriate relationships), serve as the accounting member of the Association team, as well as oversee the vendor relationships of our five office facilities.
