HCUCF - Apply for Support

HCUCF accepts proposals and requests for support throughout the year. Applicants are encouraged to apply early in the calendar year as awards will be made as funding allows.

The listed deadlines guide when we will make decisions, but please reach out to Andrea any time you’d like to discuss an idea or opportunity. Also, please reach out if an emergency need arises outside of the deadlines. 

Who can apply?

  1. HCUA affiliate credit unions may apply.
  2. Proposals will not be accepted for programs involving in legislative or political activities.
  3. Proposals must fall within the three categories below for HCUCF funding.

What can you apply for?

Apply for a Professional Development Scholarship

Professional Development Scholarships (Under $100M in assets)
Scholarships support registration fees for training, seminars, conferences, networking or other professional development opportunities.

      Deadlines Year-Round  HCUA Workshops, Events, Webinars and Convention
  Year-Round     Other professional development requests will be considered


Apply for a Small Credit Union Assistance Grant

Small Credit Union Assistance Grants (Under $100M in assets)
Intended to help small credit unions remain competitive and strong well into the future, these grants can be for technology, equipment, strategic planning, marketing –whatever it takes to help your credit union serve your members into the future.

Apply for a Community Development Grant

Community Development Grants (Credit unions of all asset sizes)
These grants are intended to support the unique community development needs of credit
unions and their members. Credit unions can apply alone or in partnership with a nonprofit
or other organization to deliver these programs or events.
