Credit Unions Invited to Participate in Small Business Expo

     Congressman Sam Graves

Calling all credit unions! You’re invited to participate in the 5th Annual Sixth Congressional District Small Business Expo in Kansas City on May 13, 2013. The expo is hosted by U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (R-District 6), who serves as Chair for the U.S. House Small Business Committee.

This informative event provides the opportunity to meet with Congressman Graves in the district and illustrate the importance of small business lending to credit unions. In addition to the congressman, there will be speakers from Hy-Vee, the Small Business Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Department, Polsinelli, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Small Business and Technology Development Centers, Success Unlimited, Women’s Capital Connection and Allens Consulting.

Please consider sharing this event information with any small business owners served by your credit union. If possible, consider having a representative from your credit union attend with any small business owner who participates.
