Bob Larson, CUNA Mutual Group

Bob Larson is a financial consultant at CUNA Mutual Group. He is responsible for providing financial and consulting support to the account teams for large and mid-size credit unions. He is accountable for demonstrating the financial impact of CUNA Mutual Group products on credit union financial goals.  

Bob provides high-quality financial analysis tools to communicate the value of CUNA Mutual Group solutions. He helps account teams become more successful by providing analytical support throughout the sales process. He also provides financial coaching and training to help account teams successfully articulate the financial impact of our solutions.  

Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group in 2004, Bob was the director of accounting for Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union of St. Paul, Minn. There he was responsible for the asset liability management, the investment portfolio and monthly financial statements. Previously, Bob was an accounting manager for Postal Credit Union in St. Paul. He has more than 20 years of credit union experience, all focusing in areas of accounting and finance.    

Larson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Metropolitan State University. 

 David Karandish, Capacity

David Karandish is Founder & CEO of Capacity—an enterprise artificial intelligence SaaS company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Capacity can automate support for your customers and employees as it’s AI continuously learns from organizational knowledge and the interactions within a business to automate processes and decisions.  
Prior to starting Capacity, David was the CEO of Answers Corp. He and his business partner, Chris Sims, started the parent company of Answers in 2006 and sold it to a private equity firm in 2014 for north of $900M.
David sits on the boards of Varsity Tutors (an on-demand, real-time learning platform in the ed tech space), Create a Loop (a computer science education non-profit tackling the digital divide by teaching kids to code), and (a non-profit providing educational resources and strategic guidance about Artificial Intelligence to individuals, communities, and companies).
David lives in St. Louis with his wife, Erin and four kids. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing ukulele.

Kevin Usiatynski, CU Loan Source

Kevin Usiatynski is an Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer with Credit Union Loan Source. Kevin is responsible for Dealer Operations, Product Strategy, Dealer Sales, Credit Policy, Scorecard Management, and Strategic Planning. Prior to joining CULS, he spent more than 20 years in the auto finance industry with SunTrust Bank, Citizens Bank, and Chrysler Financial, where he served in management roles across a range of functional areas including business strategy, product development, underwriting, and risk management. 


Jake Martin, Invo Solutions

Jake Martin serves as Chief Operations Officer of Invo Solutions. He has 19 years of professional experience leading small teams at regional companies to teams of 100+ at Fortune 50 corporations nationally. Jake has successfully launched 15 novel products/services while partnering with over 300 financial institutions across the United States. He leads from a position as an educator strategist, and partners with clients as a consultative mastermind. Jake graduated from Drury University with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on International Business.



Anita Newton, College Roadmap
Anita Newton

Anita Newton currently serves as the Chief Innovation Officer of CommunityAmerica. Her mission is to create digital products and services that will deliver peace of mind for its members. The lab has received numerous awards and their work has been mentioned in USA Today, Forbes, KCBJ.

Newton has spent the last 20 years helping marketing organizations both large (P&G and Sprint) and small (Zave Networks (acquired by Google), myEdmatch and Adknowlege) grow.  She currently advises a startup called Mighty Good Solutions, a consumer goods company that makes products that are currently sold in Walmart, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target and Amazon.

Newton helps support the community by serving as co-chair of STARTLAND (formally KC Startup Foundation, Board Committee Chair University of Kansas Liberal Arts and co-chair Rose Brooks 2019 Cabaret. Newton was the 2018 recipient of the Athena Award.

Newton has taught startup marketing through the Kauffman Foundation’s Founders School and FastTrac Venture program. She also created a FLL Robotics for 100 students at Briarwood Elementary. She has written articles for Forbes, Entrepreneur and She is a graduate of the University of Kansas and Harvard Business School.

Anita currently lives in Prairie Village with her husband, two children Sydney and Spencer and other ‘kids’ goldendoodles Scout and Bailey.
