This session focuses on what credit union marketers ask for most:

  • Building a lasting brand
  • Developing a vision (through strategic marketing and planning)
  • How to increase member loyalty

AGENDA

Branding
It’s more than just changing a few brochures or the look of a newsletter. A true comprehensive branding program takes years to develop and impacts the entire organization. It’s not something you mark off your to-do list. Your credit union must “live” the brand every day. Learn practical information on branding dos and don’ts. We will cover:

  • Maintaining brand consistency and momentum
  • Lovemarks and emotional branding
  • Gaining staff buy-In
  • Brand leadership

Vision
Newsletters. Inserts. Brochures. Direct Mail. That’s all that is involved with credit union marketing, right? NOT! While that may have been the case 10 years ago, your marketing now requires advanced applications. To successfully compete in today’s competitive environment, credit unions must have a clear vision, strategic marketing and a strong plan. We will cover:

  • Strategic marketing planning
  • Implementing the marketing plan and measuring performance
  • Writing a credit union marketing plan

Member Loyalty
Members come and go. But what if they stayed? Many credit unions face a “back door” problem. For every member they bring in front door, they lose one out the back. Your credit union can achieve successful growth with member acquisition and member retention. We will cover:

  • Member retention overview
  • Deepening relationships with your members
  • Components for a successful retention strategy
  • Tactics for increasing member loyalty

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Marketing/business development staff.
