Registration Deadline: November 8

In an intensive, 2-day program, Frank Drake will administer a strong dose of bankruptcy and collections law for credit union professionals, mixed with a generous measure of practical advice, forms and procedures. Beginning with bankruptcy basics and progressing through complex contract and legal issues, attendees can expect both a broad perspective and a microscopic focus by a 34-year veteran lawyer. "Whether, how, when and why" questions will all be addressed. Claims, motions, objections, reaffirmations, redemptions, fraud - all of those and more are on the menu.

In a second day, Frank will explore the arcane law of secured lending. Anyone in secured lending must command the creation, attachment, perfection and enforcement of security interests in collateral. Frank will see to it no one leaves without a hefty dose of UCC Article 9, share-lien law and military- member legal restrictions.

Passive listeners beware! Frank embraces active class participation. He rewards attentive learners and delights in chasing questions like a hound chases a rabbit. Come ready with your questions, and be ready for some straightforward answers.
