President/Chief Executive Officer: Kansas Teacher's Community Credit Union (Pittsburg, KS)

Kansas Teachers Community Credit Union (KTCCU) is searching for the right strategic executive to lead the credit union in the role of President/Chief Executive Officer. This person will ensure that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members by identifying the financial needs and recommending the appropriate product, as well as developing an effective team of managers and employees to their highest potential through coaching and leadership. The CEO will be responsible for all facets of managing the credit union, including goal development, implementation, monitoring and reporting, coaching, achievement, strategic planning, budgeting and expense control, business development, risk management, and effective relations with the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, and Regulators. A minimum of 5 years of related progressive experience in a financial environment, in a position of senior or executive management, and supervisory experience. 

KTCCU was chartered in November of 1949 as the Kansas State Teachers Federal Credit Union. For a short period the credit union was operated out of the College Bookstore on the Pittsburg State University campus. In November of 1960, the credit union changed from a federal charter to a state charted and became S.E.K. Teachers Credit Union. At this time the credit union moved to 105 W 5th Street and hired its first full time manager. Currently KTCCU has $120 million in assets and serve over 12,000 members. With a population of 26,000, Pittsburg is the largest city in Southeast Kansas. Pittsburg was established in 1876 by Col. E.H. Brown with the first home built that same year by J.T. Roach. Interactive Teller Machine Supervisor: Mid American Credit Union (Wichita, KS)

Mid American Credit Union is looking for an individual that is looking to be challenged, rewarded and inspired.  This Supervisor oversees of a group of ambassadors for the credit union with the overall purpose of providing friendly and efficient customer service to members.  The individual is responsible for coaching and training of a high performing Interactive Teller Team.  This includes, building relationships with members, identify sales opportunities, and ensure that each transaction is processed accurately and efficiently.

The Interactive Teller Supervisor primary responsibilities is to serve as a key member of the Interactive Teller Team by leading various components of the initial integration efforts and implementation of future enhancements and updates.  This includes, but not limited to testing of all transaction sets, procedural development and documentation for team members, working with branch staff to familiarize staff and members with this technology as units are deployed. Implement coaching metrics to develop a high-performance program with outstanding member service.  Help staff with day-to day- operations of the department including balancing and addressing technological issues.  Including listening to team members’ feedback and help resolve any issue or conflicts.

Determine applicants’ qualifications and provide detailed information about our loan products, and recommend financing alternatives, interest rates, and payments.
Review the application for completeness and verify data by verifications, etc.
Order and review the credit report, and calculate necessary debt ratios.
Put together a file for approval or denial so that the loan can be decisioned
Communicate with the member regarding loan documents that must be issued.
Organize and coordinate loan documents.
Ensure that the processing, and all loans are in compliance with Federal laws, NCUA and Credit Union guidelines.

Must be friendly and possess excellent communication skills
Lending knowledge is extremely important
Need to have good attendance record and be punctual
Financial industry experience a plus
College preferred, but not required
