October is Project Zip Code Month
October is Project Zip Code month for Kansas and Missouri credit unions! Your credit union’s participation ensures our numbers reflect the annual number of members in each state.
Information on how to run Project Zip Code (PZC) is coming to each credit union’s inbox ASAP. Whether you have run PZC before or this is your first time – every credit union’s participation is important, and HCUA is here to help if needed. This secure program counts your credit union members and matches them by Congressional district, state legislative district, and county. These numbers, together with results from credit unions nationwide, gives us data that reinforces the impact of our industry in both our federal and state advocacy efforts.
In addition to grassroots advocacy, PZC can help credit unions better serve your members. By using the Queries and Reports functions, you can see where your membership lives by state, county, and zip code. These functions allow you to better track where your membership resides and is useful in planning expansion efforts and shared branching. Within the next few weeks, HCUA will share further details on PZC.
